AMP Studies School of Music

The Filipino musician can already boast of having his very own organization. This is the Asosasyon ng Musikong Pilipino Foundation, Inc., or AMP, headed by former First Lady Amelita Ramos.

Founded on October 3, 1997, AMP has already attained many goals and more are being realized one by one through the efforts of its founding members led by Mr. John Lesaca as Vice-Chairman and Mr. Jong Cuenco as President with of course the invaluable help of Mrs. Ramos. Now, the feasibility of a music school is being studied.

AMP aims to protect the livelihood rights of the Filipino musicians professionalize their standards, and provide a more level playing field in relation to work. We hope that this will bring us to greater heights and greener pastures.
