STANDARD RATES FOR AMP SESSION MUSICIANS FOR\u00a0<\/strong>CONCERTS AND BROADCASTS (TV, DVD, ETC.)<\/strong><\/p>\n

ENGAGEMENT GUIDELINES<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Actual live performance playing time is a maximum of THREE (3) hours. Over and beyond 3 hours will result in an additional payment of \u00bd of show rate per extra hour. Fractions of an hour will not be considered. Actual rehearsals are booked in 4 hour blocks (3 hours playing and 1 hour break)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      \n
    1. Producers must provide the following: Minimum rehearsal is one session (4 hours) Rehearsals may be extended by half session increments<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      For morning rehearsals – lunch and drinks<\/p>\n

      For afternoon rehearsals – snacks and drinks<\/p>\n

      For evening rehearsals – dinner and drinks<\/p>\n

      For run-through – snacks, dinner and drinks<\/p>\n

      For sound check only – dinner and drinks<\/p>\n

      Travel and accommodations with corresponding meal allowances\/per diems<\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Sound checks – its nature being for sound technical considerations, sound checks will be good for a maximum of FOUR (4) songs only. More than 4 songs will be considered an extra rehearsal and subject to subsequent additional industry rates.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
          \n
        1. Punctuality of musicians<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Unless there is a prior agreement regarding time schedules, the producer is authorized to impose a fine for AMP musicians who report for work later than the\u00a0agreed upon schedule as follows:<\/p>\n

          Per THIRTY (30) minutes late<\/strong> (no fractions of an hour will be considered):<\/p>\n

          P500.00 fine<\/strong><\/p>\n

          One (1) second after the agreed time schedule is considered late.<\/strong><\/p>\n

          The producer must have a designated timekeeper who shall keep and maintain a time record of musicians. This time record must be initialed by both musician and\u00a0producer or his authorized representative and shall be the basis for producer\u2019s\u00a0complaints and action against the erring AMP musician;<\/p>\n

            \n
          1. As a matter of policy and unless there is prior agreement stating otherwise, AMP does not encourage \u201csubstitutions\u201d by its member-musicians during rehearsals and more so for the actual shows.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
              \n
            1. Contracts \u2013 engagement contracts between the producer and the AMP member will be required containing the following essentials aside from the basic clauses:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 A. If the producer intends to cover the event through cameras and other means of recording, the event is considered broadcast and shall be\u00a0subject to broadcast rates.<\/p>\n

              For documentation purposes, ONE (1) camera will be allowed to cover the event. The producer shall sign a document ensuring that the coverage will\u00a0be for file purposes only and not for commercial use.<\/p>\n

              \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 B. Other intentions for the concert – whether the producer intends to make a CD, VCD, DVD, all formats of video streaming or any form of audio and\u00a0audiovisual (capture or recording instead) format is double the performance fee. Failure on the part of the producer to declare these intentions in the contract will render the producer\u00a0ineligible for thefollowing group discounts for audio and audiovisual format fees:<\/p>\n

              		\n

              \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 P17,500.00<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

              Or it can be subject to negotiation, and the producer will then have to pay\u00a0P20,000.00 for audio and another P20,000.00 for audio-visual undertakings<\/p>\n

              OR, a computation of payment per track per song, whichever is lower.<\/p>\n

              \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 P3,000.00 for a minimum of 2 tracks.<\/p>\n

              \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0C. Transfer of rights \u2013 regarding above item \u201cB\u201d, the producer will be allowed to transfer, sell or assign CD, VCD, DVD, all video streaming formats or\u00a0other format rights to other parties ONLY upon execution of a separate contract with the musician(s). Said contract should indicate who will be responsible for payment of above audio, audiovisual and other format fees\u00a0with corresponding acknowledgement of such party responsible.<\/p>\n

              \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0D. Down payment upon contract signing, and full payment on show date are required before<\/strong> show time. Postdated checks will NOT be accepted;<\/strong><\/p>\n

              \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0E. If not due to Force Majeure, rescheduling of local engagement(s) shall be within NINETY (90) days after the first original show date. A new contract\u00a0with the musician is required if the rescheduled engagement falls beyond\u00a090 days;<\/p>\n

              \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0F. Rescheduling for foreign engagements shall be mutually agreed upon by\u00a0both producer and musician;<\/p>\n

              \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0G. In cases of cancellation of the engagement for more than THIRTY (30) days prior to the engagement date, all down payments shall be forfeited in\u00a0favor of the musician.<\/p>\n

              \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0H. If the event is cancelled in less than 30 days but more than SEVEN (7) days before the engagement date, the producer will pay FIFTY PERCENT<\/p>\n

              (50%) of the total contract price to the musician, minus down payments\u00a0made.<\/p>\n

              \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0I. In cases of cancellation of the engagement within SEVEN (7) days before the engagement date, the producer will pay the full amount of the total\u00a0contract price to the musician;<\/p>\n

              1. For all engagements, unless there is prior agreement stating otherwise, rehearsal time is limited to THREE (3) hours working time ONE (1) hour break time.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                  \n
                1. The rates for carting second and specialty instruments personally owned by the musician for recording and other engagements shall be treated as a separate business transaction between the musician and the producer.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
